L’antietam x Siq Shit x Part 2
…here is your 2nd dose of some sweet sweet new L’ANTIETAM jams. earlier in the week, i posted a new song off their upcoming double 7inch “Dark Brew/Rock Bottom”. and today i bring you another new premier track off that same release; this song is titled “DARK BREW PART 2”. the track is part of a series found on the gatefold EP. and if you haven’t figured it out yet, this release is actually 2 different EPs packaged together; you have the “Dark Brew” EP and the “Rock Bottom” EP. each EP has it’s own cover art and theme. and don’t worry, they both rule. click here to check out the other song that i posted and get more info about the release.
this record will be AVAILABLE ONLINE SOON through the band, as well as the French label Communication Is Not Words who put it out. but if you’re lucky enough to be currently hanging around the Boston area, then you can grab this release before anyone else at L’ANTIETAM’s show TOMORROW.
if not, ORDERING should be going up soon over HERE (for Europe/World) and HERE (for US/World). and i will post on here when i know that shit is up.
let’s keep this shit floating all weekend long. REBLOG homie.
Lots of new things in progress
(re: DoctorShopper, possible Oakland showing, tedious linocut)
but for now here is an old thing.
Ivy is symbolic of dependence, the thrushes depend on the ivy.
Thanks for looking at my drawings.
My dear friend Tim Break had me draw this months ago and now it is on him forever. “Suffer Well” is a great creed (much like the buddhist idea of “eating bitterness”), but Dig By Moon is more optimistic. I love my dude.
Some nice people have sent me great things recently, pleasant to feel community with people. Thank you Jamie, Bryan, and Orion. So I may reprint very limited copies of an old zine (and the death of my writing) for penpal fodder. Maybe there will be one or two extra.
Nate Burns makes cool things from found animal bones.
Here’s an example of a custom design on a fox skull for my friend, Kaitlyn, that lives out west. Another good friend, Travis (who happens to be her boyfriend) commissioned this from me for Kaitlyn’s birthday. It’s a swirling, cosmic panorama. There’s another custom fox skull I finished the same time as this one that another close friend requested, which will be posted soon too.
Other skulls and cool jewelry items are posted over at http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheReliquaryShoppe.
The zine is great quality full color patterns and drawings, all well done, beautifully printed and assembled.
edit: shit I just got my shirt it is so tight I feel like Jim Breuer.
received this package from our friend Orion yesterday. Sweet dye job, prints, and stickers. Love the shirt, everything is quality. Hit em up here -> Loosebones
